Mentoring Program – Pre-application phase
Objectives of the program:
• Identifying an aspirant’s academic goal and her further study choices for the same;
• Assessment of the student’s existing accomplishments;
• Devising the road map to fortify the aspirant’s profile by developing credentials around the following important attributes (Super8) – Leadership, Academic, Volunteering, Cultural, Sports, Community Service, Environmental, and Passion, leading to the application stage. Aside from the academic grades, accomplishment of proficiency around the Super8 attributes weigh heavily in the ultimate selection of an aspirant for a program.
• Managing all that is required to fortify the candidature of the aspirant.
Who is eligible to join the program:
• Students who have just joined their XI standard;
• Students who join us while in their XII standard, for an accelerated mentoring program; and
Program structure:
• 8 modules through monthly virtual (Video/Zoom) sessions of 1 hour each in the XI standard, plus 4 modules through monthly virtual (Video/Zoom) sessions in XII standard, together with regular interventions through messages or calls to oversee the progress under the mentoring program, and sharing of important readings or videos ; Or
• 8 modules through fortnightly virtual (Video/Zoom) sessions of 1.5 hours each in the XII standard during the April to July period, under the Accelerated Mentoring Program, together with regular messages or calls to oversee the progress under the mentoring program and sharing of important readings or videos.
• For the master’s and PhD admissions, the program structure is customised as per the candidate’s circumstances and specific requirements of the intended studies, including internships, projects, and publications.
